Happenings in NYC

OFSY's 2012
Om Factory School of Yoga is off to a great start!  We have 11 students bright eyed and bushy tailed (especially on early weekend mornings) ready to share their love of yoga with the world.  And a worldly bunch they are... we have two from Germany, one from Korea, another who recently wed in Rajasthan, India, and all currently call the wilds of the 17th floor their home.  Oh, and we finally have a guy, hooray!

Flight School Cadets
Also my beloved Om Factory is opening a brand new Aerial Yoga Studio featuring Anti-Gravity and Acro Yoga in Union Square in April.  Flight School it will be called.  Fortunately I was hanging around the 17th floor and was able to enroll in the most recent Anti-Gravity Yoga
Teacher Training and am proud to be one of the newest Cadets!  My fellow teachers and I are pictured here along with Aerial Yoga's founding father, Christopher Harrison (in the orange hammock).

Anti-Gravity Yoga combines the traditional yoga principles with elements from aerial acrobatics, dance, pilates and calisthenics.  Anti-Gravity Yoga helps students realign their body and spirit with the tool of gravity that serves to achieve physical and mental decompression.  You will learn to fly, as well as to decompress the vertebrae of the spine without strain utilizing the agility of yoga to play with gravity.  For more info visit www.omfactorynyc.com
